# After School Chess Program Booking Policy Thank you for choosing Pushing Pawns. Our goal is to provide a safe, organized, positive, and enriching chess experience for every student. Please review the following policies before completing registration. ## Registration & Enrollment Registration is available on a first come, first served basis. A student's space is not guaranteed until registration and payment have been successfully completed. Enrollment may close once a program reaches capacity. If a class is full, families may have the option to join a waitlist and will be contacted if space becomes available. Registration is for the specific day, session, semester, or program selected at checkout and may not automatically transfer to another program. ## Program Schedule Pushing Pawns After School Chess Programs generally operate during the school year on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from school dismissal until approximately 4:30 PM. Exact program days, dates, dismissal times, and locations may vary by school. Families should refer to the registration page for the schedule associated with their specific program. Programs follow the participating school's academic calendar unless otherwise communicated by Pushing Pawns. ## Payment Full payment is required at the time of registration unless a payment plan or other arrangement has been approved in advance. Registration is not considered complete until payment has been received. Any available sibling discounts, promotional codes, financial assistance, or payment plans must be applied or approved according to the terms listed at registration. Discounts may not be combined unless specifically stated. ## Attendance Regular attendance is strongly encouraged. Consistent participation helps students build confidence, develop their chess skills, and progress through the curriculum. If your child will be absent, please notify Pushing Pawns as soon as possible. Missed classes due to personal absences, family scheduling conflicts, vacations, or other circumstances outside of Pushing Pawns' control are generally not eligible for refunds, credits, or make up sessions. Any exception is at the discretion of Pushing Pawns. ## Cancellations & Refunds Because program staffing, materials, and enrollment are planned in advance, registration fees are generally nonrefundable once a program has begun.
